Digital C Print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag
25 squares of large white paper are folded, joined into a larger sheet. The folded sheets are thrown over a base structure of obscured everyday objects from my studio. The resulting landscape is created according to the folds in the surface and underlying structure.
The image may appear as digital construction; the tessellated language of 3d building blocks. Nearer the surface, paper materiality and fragments of the construction process emerge. The printed image shifts between representations of paper structure, digital construction and landscape.
